The first sortie I watched this afternoon had five jets taking off! However, there was a problem with Red 3. Their lagging gear was stuck in the down position. So he went round to far side of the airfield & flew about for a while & then came down . On landing there were two fire engines & an ambulance that chased after him. All precautionary I suppose. It looked as if everything was ok though.
Local sources reported last week that one of them couldn’t get the landing gear down to land. These planes are now getting old, I wonder when, or if, they will be replaced!
