The Reds haven’t been around very much lately, but this morning they flew over our house! Totally unexpected & neither Phil or I were quick enough to catch them.
So after lunch when I was going to the supermarket I thought I would detour via Scampton & see if the planes were still out on the pan - they were. So I parked up & waited. After about ten minutes they were taxiing to the runway, all ten of them! So was able to capture them going by & then their takeoff. They were taking off towards the A15 & last where I was standing, but captured them, even if not that well with a 300mm lens.
This is one of them , on their way to the runway. One of the pilots even waved today.
