Village Church by carole_sandford

Village Church

Another from yesterday's visit to Buslingthorpe, St Micheal's was the village church, situated in close proximity to the Manor House, so both important buildings. The tower is original, dating back to the 1300s the rest was rebuilt in the 1800s. The church like the rest of the village fell into disuse when the congregation moved else where. It is now looked after by a charity.
A beautiful old structure - nicely captured!
