Before a butterfly can flap it's wings, it starts out as something completely different & transforms itself through four stages. First as an egg, then a caterpillar, next as a pupa in it's chrysalis & finally it emerges as a butterfly. This whole process takes about four weeks from start to finish - a reminder that beauty is but fleeting!
