Hollyhock by carole_sandford

Hollyhock

The Hollyhocks don’t seem to have done quite so well this year. This is one of the few remaining flowers, at the end of a long stalk which has had to be tied up, but is still migrating across the lawn!
Lovely colour and detail.

A lovely bright colour - amazing how they have a will of their own or lack the strength to stand up straight My Michaelmas daisies this year have drooped in the ain and lie nearly on the lawn -- memo to self -- I should have tied them back !!
