Never used this before. You can't too "up close" with it & in an ordinary landscape type shot, with the light pretending to still be in the depths of winter, I think it perhaps doesn't make that much differnce, or at least it didn't seem to to me. HOWEVER - the detail when you crop it Or zoom in is far superior, hence why I have cropped & cropped & then cropped some more - because the detail & focus is so good, you lose NOTHING! This flower was surrounded by many others which appear on the original.
Not sure if this how it is meant to be used, but this has been my use of it today.
