Had to empty our sideboard today so that we could move it out of the dining room, as having a new carpet fitted tomorrow.We have quite a collection of crystal glasses from our time in Berlin. When we lived there the Wall was still in situ, but as a wife of a serving soldier we were allowed accompanied shopping trips to the Eastern side. As the exchange rate then was 1 Deutschmark to 7 Ostmark, things were pretty cheap!
I have washed all of them this evening, sooo dusty!
