... by night. The muted lights in this area, make me think of Dickensian times, though then the cathedral probably wouldn’t have been lit. Next week this area will be crammed with people attending the Lincoln Christmas Market - one of the largest in the Country, but tonight, just a few people.

You’ve inspired me to visit again with your photo but NOT when the crowds are there! Have done that and it was a nightmare getting away from the car park that was miles away
@stevepo We park down the bottom in the Council Offices car parks and do a slow walk up Steep Hill to the market around the castle. It’s far easier than the park & rides.
