Beautiful details and pov. Have you read Pillars of the Earth. It’s a series of novels created around the challenges of building the great cathedrals. It’s fiction but I believe the info about the building is well researched.
Beautiful receding arches leading to the cross. Yes, these buildings are amazing not only for their beauty but that they were all calculated and constructed without the aid of a CAD system or a computer.
