Ever hopeful. We have a family of possums that turn up at our house every evening. We put apple and pear out for them sometimes and last night when I put the rubbish out one of the possums ran up to me hoping for food. He must have arrived late and one of the other possums had got to the apple first.

You've got a. young squirrel, too! And a very similar feeder to my peanut bird feeder that the squirrels climb all over and gnaw at but I didn't think they were able to get much from it because of the small mesh. Does yours get nuts from it? I feed my squirrels a corn mix but I wonder if I should get some kind of peanut feeder for them, too?
