Gainsborough Old Hall

Built around 1460 by Sir Thomas Burgh as a home & demonstration of their wealth & power. It was also home to Catherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII, briefly when she was married to a Burgh & later widowed. Now owned by English Heritage & open to the public.
