Banquet Anyone?

The Dining Hall of Doddington Hall all set up for Christmas Dinner. The family that live in half of this hall, do actually come through & have their Christmas Dinner celebration in here.
The house is still occupied by the descendants of the original family that built the house, or rather had it built, in the year 1593/1600.

The table is beautiful. The backs of those chairs don’t really look comfortable, would definitely make me sit up to avoid slumping into it.

This was a lovely visit to the Hall decorated for Christmas.

Claire is a descendent of the original family, James married into the family but is the architect of everything that keeps the hall standing and in good repair.
