Lucy Tower, originally one storey higher, enclosed the living quarters of the constable of the castle, which were constructed of wood.In the 19th century the tower became a burial ground. Graves of people that were hanged still lie within.
The huge tree was lit up a shade of purple & there was a kaleidoscope type thing on the wall of the tower. I thought it looked quite effective.
