St Michael’s church Buslingthorpe , dates from the 13th century, with alterations & additions in the following century. In 1835 it was restored, and other than the tower, was rebuilt in brick. The church stands on the site of a deserted medieval village. It was declared redundant in 1984.
Great details- sad they covered over that wonderful stone with brick, but I suppose they had to due to its age. I'm glad they didn't tear it down. It's an interesting building.
@johnfalconer yes, it is no longer consecrated. It’s looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust & is open daily for anyone that wants to look round.
