A view from our anchorage at night. There are predictable on and offshore breezes here that can cause minor havoc. There was plenty of adventure to watch each day as yachts anchored near each other then found their boat swing to be more or less than anticipated, sometimes fouling each other’s anchors, causing drifting or swinging too close to other boats. Anchoring was terrifying for me at first because I have to drive the boat while Stephen drops the anchor at the bow. I’ve got used to it now and we’ve developed into a pretty capable team in this regard. Thankfully no night time misadventures happened as the breezes were settled by then.

@kali66 It can be so terrifying and yet can be so wonderful. It's challenging because there's no off button, the only way to solve a problem is so move forward. We pick our sea and weather so carefully.
I remember the first time we capsized... he gave me a cheeky look and said "I didnt tell you that might happen did I ?"lol and we had to be rescued once he got too tired to climb back in the boat. i barely remember that but he reminded me when i visited . The best part was hearing my Dad swearing like a trooper hahaha he never did that on dry land!
@kali66 oh wow. I imagine you were out from Plimmerton at the time? That must've been so frightening. Steve going in the water is absolutely my greatest fear.
