Went out to my car yesterday morning and the sun was shining on the roof which was covered in snow,which in turn was covered with a hoar frost.It was quite lovely to see.
Did you use a special lens to shoot this? It is just gorgeous and such wonderful detail! I have never heard of hoar frost and snow....must look it up on google!
wow, what a great closeup! we've had some hoar frost recently but i've not tried to capture it. A friend got square "flakes" of frost - the first i've ever seen that. Nature makes some amazing things for us to enjoy.
