This robin was foraging around in the undergrowth in the garden.He then,conveniently,flew onto the birdbath.I don't know what's in his beak,it looks like a stalk.
What a pretty Robin and great photo of it, Carol. I did not know they come in different colors, I am used to the orange/red breasted robin's. We had one this morning with its beak stuffed full of nesting materials. My cat, Oscar went after it and it few up on the roof and flew away before I could get a photo. I did not know they are still building nests. So, your Robin is probably building a nest but also looks like part of a worm in photo.
