Took this shot through the conservatory window. My grandsons found the baby blackbird in our garden. It kept hopping around the garden,so eventually we put it in our next door neighbour's back garden,as they have no pets and have several trees, knowing they've had blackbird nests in the past.Last night, they told that mum had been down to it,so,hopefully it might survive.
Many thanks for all your views and comments, always much appreciated.
Lovely capture of this dear little baby bird and a Fav Carol. I hope his mummy looks after him a bit better and that there are no cats around to hurt him!
What a lovely shot Carol. Blackbirds are nidifugous birds, they fly out of the nest and the parents feed them on the ground, this is why so many are caught by cats and other preditors
