Have you paid and displayed? by casablanca

Have you paid and displayed?

I had to smile this morning at the bright sign that still stands proudly on the ruins of the old car park at my local supermarket.

For those of you who live elsewhere "Have you paid and displayed?" is a common sign in English car parks, referring to purchasing a ticket from a machine on arrival that needs sticking on your windscreen to cover a specific time period.

The answer is.......erm......no, couldn't find anywhere to park the car actually........
We don't have them here but we've seen them all over Europe.

Living in the country, we don't have to pay for parking. Are they going to build another car park?

@littleconnie Yes, they are increasing the spaces by 60. A lot of work and expense for just 60 spaces but it is a busy over congested town, so I guess they think it is worth it.
