Canoeist

Back in our beloved Cambridge this morning and this canoeist was working very hard and fast on the river. I really enjoyed watching the still water ahead and the churned path of his wake behind.
What a lovely shot, the effect the paddle has on the water is fascinating it reminds me of an open fan.

Great POV to capture the wake he leaves behind...a very gentle and interesting pattern.

I love it. Reminds me of the very old Sarah T Bolton poem.

Voyager upon life's sea,
To yourself be true,
And whatever your lot may be
Paddle your own canoe.

Interesting to see the movement of the water behind - the swirls and waves. Looks great on black too.

The structure of the water is very interesting and I like how you placed the canoeist in the top part of the frame and the dark corner makes a good frame.

The dark and light of those ripples is great and he's just so well placed in the frame. Fav
