Shades of Autumn by casablanca

Shades of Autumn

Light just catching behind the leaves on the tree this morning. I think Autumn is my favourite season for the way the sunshine lights up colour in nature.

Thanks for your kind cheering comments yesterday. I feel like a right old crock lately!! Working on the exercises for the hand arthritis, now trying to settle my back down again after the injury......but my old Dr used to say "if you are over 50 and you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you've died."

I am SO alive today on that basis lol
Beautiful colours. Hope aches and pains are manageable today

I love the light and colours. I feel like your kindred spirit in a way with my gammy wrist and back, Iโ€™m far from dead too

Love the lighting and colours. I often feel like a creaky gate - I serve a useful purpose but make a bit of noise on movement.

Lovely the vibrant colours there and the child in me saw a frog ready to jump ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„
Autumn colours are amazing.

Ha ha - your old doc had a sense of humour then? It makes me feel glad that I don't have any aches or pains when I wake up - is that what I've got to look forward to??
I love the spots on the leaf.

Love the autumn colours. I hope the black spots aren't contagious though. You have probably got enough to deal with at the moment, you don't want black spot as well.

Ha ha funny, my neckache this morning means I'm alive too!
This is such a gorgeous shot with the pretty light on the turning leaf, fav.

I do sympathise with your pain it just becomes a way of life we learn to live with. It took me 40 minutes to walk to the hairdressers with my granny pusher this week a journey that normally takes me ten and she wasn't very happy because I was ten minutes late. At least I am still alive. Lovely Autumn capture.

Very nice lighting and colors. I suppose I am alive this morning as well. Usual aches and pains. Hope your back is getting better. Those exercises really helped me this past spring.

Nice to see colors changing.

Lovely light and colours. I like your doctor's advice and I'm beginning to understand what he means.

Beautiful lighting. I think in places where we donโ€™t get a real winter that both Spring and Autumn seem to offer the most colorful and interesting photo ops....at least here where I live.

At first I thought the black bits were holes but realise itโ€™s just the colours...really defined colours too all on one leaf.
Itโ€™s strange how one ailment creeps into two sometimes...I think if we are hesitant with one part of our body you run the risk of straining another....sometimes that is. Hope you perk up soon...
