Mantova after a storm

Skyline of the city of Mantua from the Lake. The Castle of Saint George is visible on the right and the dome of the Church of Sait Andrew appears to be just above the Dukes Palace. Under the Gonzaga family Mantua became a jewel of Renaissance art. Better on black
A lovely scene and capture

Beautiful Mantova. Are you there for the book fair?

@domenicododaro not yet. Next week we'll certainly come a few times. Living in Verona it's very easy. We go every year as work permits

I bet you were glad of the storm. It looks like an interesting place.

As a matter of fact I was hoping in a rainbow… in vain
Mantova is a very nice city. For you who love music, here is where Rigoletto by Verdi is set

Yes. I have found your lovely photo of this formidably beautiful city. What a richness of ancient urban beauty and history surrounds you. Where I live, they argue over whether car wars he's dating back to the 1960s are historic landmarks or not. I believe that the spot now boasts two fast food locations, which one day will no doubt be seen as "historically" significant in their own right. Congratulations on your wonderful photo. May thanks for pointing it out for the benefit of one not wise enough to have begun filling you sooner. Most assuredly an oversight of historic proportions. I am ever so glad to have righted that situation by now.
