Quite an impressive photo. You don’t need to be taking classes. You should be teaching them.

I see you’re into stilllifes now. What’s next? Bird shots?! Won’t be long. ;-)

@mbrutus I'm into anything that is available! And birds are not an easy find here, so I think I will rely on your beautiful images for now

This is the first time I have seen this shot on my big monitor. And I still really like it. The composition is great. But I think that it could be a little sharper. I can't pick out an exact focus point, which is little odd. Since you are shooting at f25, your depth of field should be great and almost everything should be in sharp focus. So I feel that the lack of focus might be due to a small amount of blur from your shutter speed. 1/50 of a second is fine for a wide angle or even a normal lens. But for at 180mm, it is a little slow and might allow a little camera shake to blur the sharpness. Your alternative solutions would be to raise your ISO setting above 100 to possible 400 which would allow you to shoot at approximately 1/250 of a second, which would be fast enough for a 180mm lens. Or you could give up a little depth of field and shoot maybe f11. You would still have decent depth of field and you could still shoot at about 1/250 of a second. I likely wouldn't bother mentioning this to anyone else, because this is still a really nice picture. But I know that you hunger to improve is great and this photo, good as it is, could have been even better when blown up large. So if this is unwanted suggestions, please forgive me. If this is too technical and sounds like Greek to you (although for all I know, you probably speak Greek.) I will try to explain better. Or come to LA someday and I will give you some pointers.
