@paul10 Yes Paul it is snow. Those are mountains that rise above 2500 meters.

Yes the composition is similar (sun going down and up again) but on opposite side of the mountains: west the first of January, east this one. The meteorological conditions were very different, if anyone cares to know) having snowed all day on the first, while opening to a cold and clear day on the third.
