@caterina -- the funny response I have to your comment is that here in Munich on my first day, I rode my bike (I keep stored here) to the cemetery and looked down a lot. I've taken to cemetery walks and it's wonderfully cathartic and peaceful. I only took iPhone photos but maybe I;ll post something.
@mbrutus@robz thank you for taking the time to comment. I have been quite inactive in the past few days, not commenting and not answering much to comments because the mountains there (Monti Sibillini) are kind of isolated in terms of communications, both road and telephone-wise
@mbrutus@robz@kali66@bkbinthecity@suzanne234@365projectorgjenfurj thank you for your kind comments. It was a very emotional experience, both for the beauty of the nature and for the resilience of the inhabitants who try to remain in their land, hoping to overcome so many difficulties. Thank you also for them
@caterina I lived through an earthquake here. It caused much damage to our house, so I know a little bit how they feel. It affected my family's life in ways that still resonate, now almost a quarter century later.
