inside the bakery

At this bakery in Aqaba, Arab bread is cooked in this sophisticated machinery, where the fire is above and the breads are exposed to heath several times. At the end they drop out and are sold directly (nice and warm and crisp) or put into plastic bags that preserve the softness but make the bread soft. In addition the plastic bags will end up on fields and streets, polluting the otherwise beautiful landscape.
Great story telling shot -and interesting

Great photo of this daily ritual. I've been in Aqaba back in the 70's and stood in line for my Khubz in many Middle Eastern towns each day. Thank you for your follow and I'm following back. (See you have a photo of Petra to the side there... one of my favorite places in Jordan, too)!

Looks like the bread are travelling on the conveyor belt. They must have some traditional way of preserve the bread.

We need to come up with a biodegradable plastic bag, if there could be such a thing.
