Slightly after 1 p.m. A peculiarly cold light. Seagull fly over the square attracted by the smell of street food sold in stands put up for the festivities. On black everything looks better!
@helenhall thank you Helen, I'm a little disturbed by the top of the tower, butt there was way to excluded except by cloning it. And then I thought it would give balance. What do you think?
@caterina I think that in a way, the top of the tower compensates for the post from the lamp on the left being missing - so you are right about the balance. Perhaps if there had been a little more of the tower in your frame it would have been a more comfortable composition on the eye, but then you would have lost your square.

I like the lighting and silhouettes in this shot- not sure about the tower top though. If it'd been my picture I would have cloned it out (just my 2 cents worth as we say here!). I don't think that would impact the balance of the shot at all, in fact I like the negative space created by the sky. Good shot.
