Built by the Visconti family in the XIV century as a dam and as defence from the Scala, the family dominating Verona, the bridge over the river Mincio is 850 meters long. It is now in poor repair but it still has a lot of charme. Better on black

@ivan thank you Ivan. Indeed, in 2007 the World Monuments fund included the bridge amonf the 100 monuments to be saved! So far no action in sight…
