A fav. It is lovely. And wonderful in many ways. Your concept of capturing the similarity between colorful chaos of nature and the weathered conformity of the manmade artifact of the wall is a magnificent conceit. But I do feel that there is more power to be found in the image with a slightly stronger composition. It feels a little too much like half and half. I think you might try a few alternate compositions. Perhaps crop out a little of the bottom of the wall. Or maybe, jar us by cropping off the top of the trees. Or using the rule of thirds, perhaps try equal strips of sky, trees and wall. Almost like a flag. Just throwing out ideas. And, of course, your original composition may turn out to be the best. But it's such a wonderful photo as it is, I think it might be worth some exploration of possibilities. The you choose what you might like the best.
Totally magic. Wonderful glowing colours and great textures. Just reading the thread, some interesting ideas there. My small suggestion would be to brighten the image just a tiny bit.
@mbrutus@golftragic thank you for your suggestions, very much appreciated. However, I don't have much sky in my photos so the rule of thirds seems out of questions. I have a new version with less wall, but four trees, to try avoiding the square shape. I will post it as an addition for you to juadge.
@caterina I'd like to see it Caterina. As for the rule of threes, I often ignore it totally. Rules are made to be broken. I have also heard that sentiment repeated by highly respected photo people.
