Italian Rationalist Architecture 1935

This was the PostOffice in Sabaudia, now a city library. According to some urbanist this style should be called art déco. These buildings remind me a little of The paintings of Edward Hopper.
The connection to Hopper is so on target but I wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't mentioned it. Great architectural image and so well lit.

Yes, it's striking. We have some London Transport station buildings over in West London built in this style.

I love how you captured this and processed it to accentuate its architectural features and the Hopper-esqueness of it. Come to Chicago and let's go see Hopper at the Art Institute!
