Persimmon are available in our local supermarket, but I have to admit (and I'm a foodie) I've never used them or even eaten them in a restaurant... Nice shot.

We eat them with s spoon as fruit. A Californian friend of mine makes an excellent cake with them.

I lukebpersimmoms thought it is a relatively recent acquired taste. I like when they are fresh, but have recently purchase my first bag bid dried persimmons. They were surprisingly nice. Somewhat sweet. But not overly seeet like some dried fruit. Those orchards are lovely. I like the way you've chosen to reveal the mountains. It looks not unlike where i live. Until the middle of the last century the whole valley was citrus orchards. Now there are none or next to none. Sad. But some would see that as progress.
