Castello di Soave by caterina

Castello di Soave

Imposing medieval castle in the town of Soave, well known for its wines. Better on black, of course
Really nice, love the vantage point.

It does look rather imposing. Certainly an interesting looking place. And it does look nice on black 👍

Is there no end to the scenic architecture you find to beautifully photograph? Great composition.

@mbrutus thank you. This is really not far from home. Twenty km more or less. Unfortunately I think it would need a prospective correction to make the basis orizzontale. But when I tried the entire castle leaned on one side!

@caterina Old castles, like old people, will do that. ;-) Glad you didn't have to trek too far, in your mission to represent theNorthern Italian Office of Tourism.

I don’t have a mission to represent the Italian Office of Tourism. The fact is, @mbrutus, that I am surrounded by beauty and that’s what I take pictures of. In this case I went to Soave because the weekly theme was Up and I thought that the walls crawling up the hill would be a good example of Up. Recently I posted the images of the Carnival(which btw I liked) but the response of the 365ers was lukewarm at most. So, given the sad fact that I don’t have a garden full of flowers, I will probably continue to photograph old buildings and streets!
