Skiing uphill

Skiing uphill requires energy, perseverance, and enthusiasm but it can give enormous satisfactions.

I have never skied, we don't get any snow, so please pardon the question. How on earth does anyone ski uphill???

@golftragic the skiers glue sealskin under the skis so that they don’t slide backwards. Then, when on top, they take it out and go back skiing downhill. Of course now the so called sealskins are synthetic. No arm to the poor seals
