The River under Castelvecchio bridge by caterina

The River under Castelvecchio bridge

We went to check the conditions of the river and found that the water level has decreased a little as well as its strength. No more rain, the sky is finally blue again, and the setting sun shines on the old bridge
It is a stunning location and photo Caterina, i like the water movement

The water still looks high - great colours in the strong light and what a lovely sky.

You're photos come from such interesting places. Even in a high water event the warm low light colors bring out such interesting textures.

Thank you @taffy and yes, we were spared the flooding, in part because the firemen opened the canal that connects the river Adige upstream to Lake Garda, letting out a large amount of water and decreasing the pressure. Today was sunny, but my husband's brother who lives nearer to the mountains has been without electricity and warming for two days. And let's hope that the rain foreseen for tomorrow won't damage Venice further
