As I mentioned yesterday, there was a balloon above the square of the arena in Verona and I went up, floating in the air to take a few pictures. It was great fun, an incredibly beautiful view arriving all the way to the mountains. Unfortunately the organisers were late and although we had bought tickets for 5.40, when sunset was supposed to happen, I finally went up when it was already dark in the city. However some light was still lingering at the horizon. The dark lines are the ropes of the ballon
the ropes are kind of working in the shot - especially knowing what they are. it somehow evokes your contained view of the city very well. You still got a tremendous sky - despite the disappointment of being late.
@jamibann yes Issi it was beautiful and a complete surprise @dide it was an adventure, unfortunately there were four of us in the basket up there and the space to take photos was limited @ivan@jgpittenger@helenhall thank you for your comments.
