Some days. . . by catsmeowb

Some days. . .

I feel as though my basket is empty
i see no kindness outside my door
i hide;

yet embers burn
and flames do crackle
in every corner of my heart
each time i look at home

Very artsy, Camille! Love it!

oh, wow! this is such a beautiful shot made more so by your processing, camille. such creative skills. i like that framing, too, it's so different. is it ipiccy or picmonkey?

@summerfield i use ipiccy, in looking back, i realize i must record what i do to each shot because i think i will recall each step but i do not. the frame is mirror; i just changed the color, size, and polish but i always do that. i know i cross processed and equalized but not sure which effect i went with under each. the poem i just free wrote as i posted. thank you. i am currently trying to take photos i had taken way-back-when there was a found abc challenge and turn them into an alphabet book for logan's 1st birthday. i had never posted any of mine, when mal had his operation. have been turning it over in my head - think i will go for it - you inspired me the other day. thank you!

@catsmeowb - i also think i should start jotting down what i do when i process. like that church photo that i overly processed and it looked like a lithograph print. wow! i was so impressed with myself, then i tried to do it with another photo and i could not even come close to what i previously did. dangit!

an alphabet book for logan! wow! i would be disappointed if you don't go for it. really disappointed :-) and i seriously think that that is one of the purposes we are doing this thing. we didn't know it in the beginning but we do now. yes, i'm sure it will turn out good. go, camille! go for it! (can you feel how excited i just got knowing this?)
