good morning Wheelock by catsmeowb

good morning Wheelock

hopped in the car with Malcolm this morning, got out way down the road by the culvert where the beaver make a big mess down in the middle of the corn field so i would have to walk home up hill a long way. about half way home i was thinking i should have brought my nitro, but HA - am fine. like the saying goes, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. hate that stuff. don't i just live in the most beautiful place in the entire world?this view is looking towards Burke Mountain as i am walking up Peak Road.
keep seeing tiny spots on my lens. have done the internal cleaning thing so does this mean i have to take my camera in to be cleaned somewhere? they really show up in long exposures, does that sound strange? thank you for any advice anyone can give me on this subject.
glorious wondrous sunrise; makes me want to kneel down and pray. :-) i've noticed some spots, too, in some of my photos. i will use photoshop for as long as i am able to clean up the photos. i simply blame the spots in my eyes. :-)

@summerfield i almost got down and prayed i was going to make it home! but was so happy i took that walk, feel so strong now. yeah me. LOL- too funny. i have tried editing them out and that has worked in some of the shots - but i notice them here and there so am really bothered by them. think if they are in long exposure, it must be inside, but must have read that somewhere that i did not write down. hate think about taking camera somewhere. means it will be gone - yikes, might have to go borrow my p&s from flea.

@catsmeowb - you know, i, too, am soooo afraid and reluctant to send my camera for maintenance. you remember @karenann 's nikon? ended up with more problem after the cleaning. ugh! plus it costs so much here to have it cleaned professionally, i might as well buy a new one. i'm also looking into trading it for a second hand. at least where i get my camera, whatever second hand or used cam they sell, they thoroughly clean it like new. my big canon 60D i bought it second hand and it was well cleaned it was almost like new. but what i really want to get is one of those mirrorless, lighter and sharper. but i also want to get a 300mm or 400mm zoom. still i am happy with my nikon but it's so overused it just might go bye-bye one of these days. i tried to go back to a bridge p&s, it's not the same for me though.

@summerfield this is where i am at, too. thinking of getting new glass for mine but then instead we bought motorcycles. a hobby to share with mal instead of him always watching me. or telling me what to do. that just drives me nuts. end of last year he got one, said he was going to paint it because it is purple but instead, got a bigger one, now that one is mine. but now i have to figure out the whole camera thing. keep looking at the mirrorless, too.

@henrir thank you, Henri, so good to be outside again walking instead of doing it on a machine. what a change to the start to the day and i get to take my camera with me. who could ask for more?

@alia_801 thank you. as i was just saying to @henrir, getting out of the house now it is warmer is so wonderful. love the snow but the cold is rather confining. we have talked about moving but i don't want to not be with the children or grandchildren.
