My first attempt at this style. I was inspired by similar work I have seen on 365. My wife was aghast at my choice of white bread in the shot but hey, I’m just a white bread kinda guy. I ate my props when I was done.
Today marks 6 months for me on 365. I have missed only one day in that time. I find it endlessly inspiring and challenging and I want to thank all of you who take the time to look at and comment on my photos. I very much appreciate it and I do my best to reciprocate. This is a wonderful community and I am so glad I have joined it

@byrdlip My wife bakes bread often but not for a few weeks now so this is store bought. Not sure what the shelf life of her home baked is. It goes too fast.
Enjoying your photos. As you often post more than one a day, I think you've done well. This is an excellent shot. White bread. I love toast made from it. And folks who eat mater sandwiches around here love them on white bread.
@srmueller I strung some thin wire between two light stands and carefully placed each ingredient on the wires. Then i removed the wire in Photoshop. There are a number of YouTube videos on the technique. Try it, it’s fun, if a little painstaking.
Do you or your wife bake bread at home? Ours always turns out to be white bread, with about a week shelf life.
No idea how you did it … but I love it.
