Sunflowers are everywhere right now, I see others posting pictures of them, I see them growing everywhere and there is a sunflower festival near where I live so I thought I might as well get in on the act. This one is in our garden and I think it is called Helianthus Giganteus, or giant sunflower. It is definitely giant and would take over our garden if we didn’t keep it in check. It will continue to flower into October giving us a cheerful splash of yellow for the rest of the summer.
