Greenhouse effect.

This is the roof of a very large commercial greenhouse enterprise shot looking down from an overpass. These greenhouses cover many, many acres and the lights are left on all the time. They are said to disrupt and confuse migratory birds and their installation was quite controversial. The birds may suffer but we get our fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers year round.

Hopefully the birds will adapt, it's such a shame when Nature is disturbed for our convenience. A beautiful image, however. Great lines and repetition!
