My other album had the teaser for the day of Mag's one blue eye to fill in my light blue rainbow. So here she is - sort of. Still on restrictions for her sore hip so I can't take her out and get a running shot. Did you ever try to keep a herding breed quiet? No easy task. Charlie goes back to the Orthopedic on Tuesday and he is doing really well. I'll talk to the doc then about this one. He really didn't find much with her except the hip but she is still limping at times.
I ran Baby Bear this morning in wicked heat with a room air conditioner that was limping along. I got up with a bad attitude because of the weather. I knew how hot it was going to be in that big old building that we are trying to sell. But, of course, I went. I had lots of folks show up to help, including my son. He didn't want Mom to have to work too hard in the heat. It was good for my heart to see my 35 year old perennial student show up to do something for others. He thinks differently now that he is dating Gina, a single Mom, and sharing his life with Noah and Owen. I had 21 Moms show up this morning, many walking from who knows how far, to get a new outfit for their children. I ended up having a great morning counting out diapers and figuring out if we still had new shoes for little feet. It was a wonderful First Friday. I got a lot of hugs.
What a nice ending to a day that didn't start out to well. I'm glad you were able to get out, sometimes it's so hard to do. You and your son helped a lot of people and that should make you feel good.
I hope your cute dog gets better soon. It's unusual to have two different color eyes.
Aww! Sweet shot, Cathy! She is a pretty girl! Hope she is back to her self very soon! Sounds like your day has gone pretty well, even with the heat. Hope you can cool off the rest of the afternoon and evening.
What a fabulous shot. Cathy, thank you for all you do for these moms. Many, many years ago I was a single mom with a baby and would have appreciated that kind of help. I am so glad you got lots of hugs!!!

Hugs are good :o) I'm interested to know about Mag's eyes. Is this a natural phenomenon or has she had something like cataracts to cause it to happen? One of my daughter's friends had different coloured eyes; one brown and one blue xx
@cdonohoue As of right now it's 97F degrees with 41 percent humidity. My AC has not quit all day. My electric bill always kills me in the summer months here.
