This is actually the tiniest flower. Another of the one that I have no memory of what it is. Just that I like it's delicacy and color.
I may, or may not, be around for the next couple of days. I am going with my son and his family to Indianapolis to help hunt for a house for them and wrangle Garrett, the five year old light of my life with a nose newly sprinkled with freckles. They will only be 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from me - but this is a first in our family. I have been blessed to have them all right here with me. But Michael's work has taken him there. In today's new economy you have to go where the job takes you.
I hope to take my computer but and point and shoot so we'll see what time, and a five year old, allow me to do. I will be taking shots and will post when I get back if my computer has to stay home. The guy that carries my luggage is staying home to work on Saturday and take care of our dogs and of Michael's. You may laugh but this is only my second trip away from him in 31 years. We always travel together. He has taken a few trips for work conferences. I went to visit a friend that had moved to North Carolina. We take our trips together. I miss him already.
You are so right about needing to go where the job takes you. I hope they find a house they really love. Enjoy your little Garrett. Wow--only apart two times in 31 years--that's pretty amazing.
Aw Cathy travel safely, it will be lovely to come back. For most of my adult life I've lived about that distance or more from my parents - it wasn't too bad and close enough to do a day trip and Sunday lunch! This is a lovely little flower. Have a good trip :)
Beautiful capture, Cathy .... the colors are amazing. And the lighting and textures are wonderful. Hope that they find what they are looking for in a house. Supposed to be a great time to buy ....you won't be that far from them. Have a safe trip and take care.
