It is 6:16pm in Cincinnati and I am just able to post a photo of my breakfast (for the challenge) from early this morning. I got up at six and had a little fruit so I could take my pills and get across town to help with what we thought was again to be a closing on my son's house. Guess what didn't happen again. He is a very forceful young business man and he can't get answers on the problem. It is in the paperwork somewhere in Texas.......so the movers came and loaded all the furniture. The family remains in Cincinnati sleeping on air mattresses because they have four dogs and I have nowhere to put them as the four don't get along with my two. So it is an indoor camp out. Garrett is to start Kindergarten in Indianapolis this Wednesday. What a mess.
So I was extra kind to myself this afternoon. I have some trouble hearing, particularly on my old cell phone. I went to Verizon and got one version back of an iPhone with a data package so I can text and talk to that little voice and hear how his day has gone (that is my story and I am sticking to it. Actually I have been wanting one and this was a good excuse).
Oh, you are so healthy and so good. I am an emotional eater--stress like that (even when it isn't mine) would cause me to grab a chocolate bar ; ) Good for you on getting the iPhone.
So sorry to hear about all the problems. I hope it all sorts out before too long. In the meanwhile, keep eating delicious breakfasts like this and you'll be able to face up to anything!
Beautiful comp on your healthy breakfast! A great way to start the day ... am so sorry to hear about the closing problem! Does their furniture remain in the truck until the deal is closed? What house are they camping in? What a stressful time for them and for you. Bless your heart, the new phone was a good choice. Staying in touch is going to be vital for you for the next few days. Hugs to you!!
Cathy, good for you for taking care of yourself like this - that reward will help you with their being a bit away! Hope that the move straightens out and things go very well.
Breakfast looks yummy! Great colours
I so understand the frustrations of moving-house-paperwork... we were due to move in the holidays... at the end of August... on my 40th birthday... ah no - we finally did it the 2nd day of the new term in September! Tough at the time but just a memory now.
And get you with your groovy iphone! Too cool for me! :)
@maggiemae Thanks Maggie. I had donuts later in the morning...... @shannew so far I love it. @pammerritt I loved it once I figured out how to make it ring. The guy accidentally turned the ringer off when he put the case on for me. @timandelke Sometimes I use shopping as an antidepressant. And we can talk free Verizon to Verizon. @franklein I am computer savvy so hopefully I get the phone technology. @yonnie I had donuts later in the morning at Michael's. I've been eating too much junk all month just in move anticipation. Now it is here and can't seem to happen. @girlie I hope we get some answers today. This is so unreal. They were supposed to be there now. @karenann Their furniture will be in the truck until they close. They are "camping" here in Cincinnati but were talking about getting a hotel in Indianapolis tonight because Garrett is to start Kindergarten tomorrow..... @henrir I love fruit and yogurt. @marlboromaam I bought the oldest version so not so pricey. I have to be able to talk to them. @soboy5 I think so. I am used to the technology with the iPad so it shouldn't be too hard to catch on. @lyno Sometimes I get a bad case of shopping as therapy but in this case it is at least solving my own problems. @fannyb I sure hope they know something today. @filsie65 I keep telling them that they will be laughing about this soon. They just give me dirty looks.... @psychographer One of my favorite breakfasts. @sangwann Thanks Dione.
Works for me Cathy!! If and when I get a job, there is an updated cell phone in my future that has the capability to take a picture- a good picture! And it will probably have a few more bells and whistles so I can do the same with my grandchildren.
