Transylvania County in North Carolina is waterfall country. I have no idea what shot to show today. We were up at five to drive a bit and meet a guide that took us to some gorgeous places on private land. Tom corresponded with him before we left home and explained that I am not able to climb. Our guide arranged a tour of five waterfalls all over - mostly on private land. I was in heaven. I'd never shot them before. I read up on it last night and the guide gave me a few hints. I was more than pleased with the results. What a fun day.
Phenomenal! I was there last summer (2011) without a camera!!! I wasn't so into photography then. Kicking myself. We saw many falls there, too and even touched our toes in some. Do you know the name of this one? My favorite that we saw was triple falls. And this photo is a fav for it's excellence and for evoking the memory. Did you go into the cute little town of Brevard?
Oh Cathy this is so gorgeous. An absolute fav. What a sweet husband to arrange all of this for you and how great to have a guide. Looking forward to more.
@cromwell.. hehe we had similar thoughts.
