I feel like a kid in grade school. I went out and bought myself some black construction paper. Then I found a punch thingie that does butterflies and hearts. I got some tape - and presto, chango - I have a fancy lens hood. Then I got a snowman (you can almost see him) and put Frosty in front of the tree and started to shoot. Then, the dog that never wants her picture taken and turns away when she sees the black thing, came right on into the shot messing up everything. But I got butterfly bokeh!!! I am making candy and taking shots - that is Christmas multitasking at my house.
How creative you are!!! So I have a dumb question, What did you tape the paper to? Did you just wrap it around the outside perimeter of your lens? Looks very cool!
wow! I didn't think of using a craft punch to make the shape...great idea! I just love how she is positioned at the perfect angle in the shot! so sweet...AND you are making candy too! is it the peanut butter fudge?
Very cool shot Cathy! Your Butterfly bokeh looks great! I really need to try this again, I didn't have much love with my shaped bokeh last night...must buy a shaped hole punch on my lunch break today!
Well I love your bokeh and I want to have a play with the shapes too. I keep meaning to but to date have not got myself organising. Back at work after a 10 month task and I think my multi tasking is a bit rusty.
I get points for giving away my secrets!
