I see that so many of you are finishing your year today. I'm proud of you and so happy for you - and hoping that each of you will stay for another go round.
I am having so much fun here - but that is because of each of you. You have graciously welcomed me into this community of folks that all enjoy what has become so very important to me. You are always kind and a built in cheer leader and counselor. I've never asked a question that hasn't been happily answered. I appreciate that so very much.
I thought it fitting to welcome the New Year with new birth. Krohn Conservatory has an outstanding holiday show every year. They still have a creche outside with live animals - that is becoming pretty rare around here if it isn't church sponsored. A friend of mine was down last week and her husband was commenting about all of the pregnant sheep. I have no idea how old this little one is but he can't be too old. He was romping around on those new found legs. I took lots of flower shots today, but I felt this was the most fitting to welcome in a New Year.
Happy New Year to each of you.
The lamb was born Saturday morning, Cathy. This was the second year in a row a lamb was "unexpectedly" born at Krohn's Nativity scene. Supposedly the lamb(s) aren't due until Spring, but oddly enough they've been healthy, "early" full-term lambs both times. Not that I subscribe to conspiracy theories or anything, but come on. I can tell when a sheep is heavily pregnant, and i'm not a shepherd! :)
Darling! Happy New Year, Cathy - we'll have to get together! I do still have to work, but have a pretty free schedule in some ways so maybe we can look for a time.
Okay, well, here are a few words...I like how they are in profile and how you cropped/composed it so just mama's head is on the right like that. Very nice!
Happy new year!
Wishing you a very Happy New Year, Cathy. Looking forward to your shots. I think we started about the same time ; )
