I can't even begin to tell you how far I was away from this guy. We were out exploring and found a dirt road the we saw someone turn down atop the cliffs. At the end of it we found a sort of dirt parking lot and a trail down the cliff. I wish I could have walked down it - but I could never have gotten myself back out. I had to be content to try and capture the surfers from above. How they could ride right up into the face of the cliff and dive before the inevitable crash was amazing to us.
@cromwell really the only time I felt my age. Still wishing I could have gotten down that cliff side. But oh so grateful for all that I did get to see and do.
@cromwell Thanks, Cromwell. I paced myself and a lot of the time that Tom was stuck sitting in meetings (5 hours...) I spent sitting on the lanai reading or watching palm trees sway. That part worked better than any trip that we have taken.
