It really does look like this. Right now, with the temps hovering around 96 degrees in Cincinnati. This little beauty just keeps on producing lovely blooms. I need to go out and dead head the flowers but the heat is daunting right now.
Baby Bear is tomorrow night so I was out this morning buying wipes and toiletries. I just found out that the store where I get shampoo and baby bath soaps is stopping carrying the line that I pay $1.25 a bottle. Funds are low everywhere - but I'll figure it out. Just requires some more shopping trips to find good buys. We are still praying that someone comes along and wants to buy our building to give us a "second chance" of surviving. Whatever happens - it is in God's hands.
It is steaming hot out there today. Sweaty. I've gone for a walk the past two morning around 10 and have regretted it. Gorgeous roses you have there. Hope and pray that it works out for your church!
Such a beautiful rose!!! So lovely. Not familiar with your situation...don't know "baby bear" or what your business is that you are selling. Sounds like it is a tough time for you. Thinking positive thoughts for you though!!!
@eyesmile Baby Bear is a non profit that I run that supplies clothing, toiletries, diapers, books and usually a toy to the underserved in our community. I've been doing it about six years or so now. We started with the Moms at the local high school and it has had a life of it's own and grown to twice a month open houses. We serve about 30-40 families a month. Everybody gets a new outfit! Our church building is up for sale after 120ish years. We are looking for a smaller space that we can afford.
I really like the different tones of the flower. You captured it beautifully. It was hot here today, too, with temps. reaching the low 90's. Your Baby Bear sounds like a wonderful cause. Best of luck with your building problems.
