This might not look like much - but I harnessed light. I have my trusty little tent and light thingie. Then, with a very intricate setup involving a huge can of green beans I set out to create this and after numerous tries - I did it! I really am proud of myself on this one. It looks like what I had in my head.
Your flower photos the last few days have been exception... great success with the light on this one! The focus and clarity have been amazing on all of them... any secrets to share? I am taking a photography class and this week's homework is flowers...
@happypat@swilde@grammyn@timandelke about those green beans. I bought a light tent with little lights to use during the winter. I have these small lights and I needed the angle higher than I was able to achieve with the light sitting on the table. So, I used an industrial size can of beans that we buy at Sam's and feed the dogs. The light source was elevated to come down on the plant outside the tent! It is raining and windy here so inside is still about the only place for flowers.
I love this! Fav The lighting is awesome - I read your description - very clever adaptation. I am definitely drawn to dark backgrounds and your pov did so well here. Really really impressive shot.
I agree with @calm that your flower shots are just absolutely stunning and seem to be getting better and better. I guess it's true what they say... "Practice makes perfect!" Fav...
