Sorry I am just running in and out. I went to the Butterfly Show at Krohn Conservatory this afternoon - one of my favorite events of the year. I really don't know how long I stayed - but I filled at 8 gig card with butterflies. They make me smile, laugh and wonder at their beauty. Did you know they have fur?
I was there last Friday and captured a fly on the same flower (or type). Check out my monarch shot from Monday. LOVED my time there. This is gorgeous, my friend...and an easy fav!

@psychographer This is the 100mm lens. It really is my go to lens for all things detailed. You are going to love it. Just be aware that motion is killer. I deleted a lot as the silly butterflies kept flying.....
Beautiful shot, Cathy. I have to go where there are butterflies like this and see if I can even come close to your perfect shot. FAV I have seen fur on some recent photos of them. Very cool.
